Career Development Internship Program

The purpose of this website is to create a virtual place where students and post-docs in the University of Colorado Denver and bioscience companies can connect for the purpose of employment. The ultimate goal of this connection for the student is to gain real work experience though short-term employment and/or to find a company with which they might desire permanent employment. The goal for the company is to find help for a short-term project, and/or to test-drive a potential new employee without commitment

The Interns posted on this site are expected to have some bioscience education although it need not be the entire focus of their education. The site is open to basic science researchers, engineers, physicists, doctors, and nurses. All hiring companies that have a bioscience interest are encouraged to use this site.

Registration is required to view profiles. To register, users create a profile and make a username and password. If they fill in the required information, they will receive a thank you message and their profile will be sent in an email to a designated email address. This email account will be maintained by an administrator who will view the profiles and accept or deny them. Accepted profiles will post to the website and a confirmation email will be sent to the person who created the profile. Rejected profiles will be discarded and a message will be sent to the profile creator explaining why: Too many misspellings, company website inaccurate, company focus not bioscience related, no bioscience education, etc.
